Studying abroad in Italy was one of the best experiences that I have had throughout college. It
gave me the opportunity to see and experience places that I could only dream of once seeing.
Living in Florence allowed me to learn about the Renaissance and some of the most influential
people in history while being surrounded by the culture every day.

One of my favorite parts of the trip was visiting Rome. Seeing places like the Colosseum,
Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, and Vatican City in person was completely different from learning
about them in a classroom. Standing inside the Colosseum and learning about its history,
engineering, and importance to Ancient Rome made me appreciate how advanced the Romans
really were. It was one thing to hear about these places, but it was another thing entirely to
actually stand there and experience them for myself.

What made studying abroad special was not just the places we visited, but also the opportunity
to experience a different culture, meet new people, and step outside of my comfort zone. I
learned a lot about history, but I also learned a lot about myself. I would highly recommend
studying abroad to any student because it provides experiences and memories that simply
cannot be replicated in a traditional classroom setting.

My favorite parts of the trip were visiting Rome and spending time in the city of Florence. Rome was fascinating because of its rich history, famous landmarks, and unique atmosphere. Florence was equally memorable, with its beautiful architecture, vibrant culture, and welcoming people.
